Lateefah B. Conner, Financial Analyst

Mrs. Conner is originally from New York and was raised in Atlanta.  She is both the spouse and business partner of Dr. Conner.  In 2005 she left her job with county government to help establish Conner Dental Associates.  Her background in managing federal and state funded programs help lay the foundation for being the Financial Analyst of Conner Dental Associates.  Mrs. Conner attended Spelman College where she obtained her B.S. in Natural Science, and she also obtained a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) from Rutgers University.  As the Financial Analyst, Mrs. Conner is aware of the financial pulse of the practice, and she thinks of ways to improve operations and create opportunities for growth.  

Prior to being married, Mrs. Conner always had a dream of being in a successful business with her spouse.   Mrs. Conner enjoys being a mom, walks in the park, art shows, theater, concerts, continuing education, having quality family time, movies, travel, and painting.

Xochilt Delgado (Dee), Financial Coordinator/Office Administrator

Xochilt has been in the dental field for three years.  During this time she worked as a Front Office Assistant and as a Dental Assistant.  She is originally from Mexico and has been in Georgia for the last twelve years.  Xochilt chose the dental field because she likes to see people smile.  She loves to help people, and she knows that being in the dental/medical field is all about helping and understanding people.  What she enjoys most about her position at Conner Dental Associates is that the patients are seen as part of the office's family -- in her opinion it's not just a workplace, it's about being part of a great office and a great team, the Conner Dental Family.

In 2007, Xochilt became a Registered Medical Assistant, and is a member of the American Registry of Medical Assistants.  Her current goals include pursuing a career in business management.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, going to the movies, and salsa dancing.

Anne Munyua, Hygienist

Anne has been in Georgia for five years and is originally from Parklands, Kenya.  She chose the dental field because she is so passionate about dentistry and she loves to work with people.  She really enjoys seeing how brights smiles change peoples lives.  As the Hygienist of Conner Dental Associates, Anne is able to take advantage of the latest technology that improves the oral health of patients.  Her motivation comes from working one-on-one with patients and helping them accomplish the goals they set together.  As she guides and encourages patients to follow their home care instructions, she is able to witness the transformation to great oral health. 

Anne started her dental career in Boston, MA when she obtained a Certificate in Dental Assisting.  She obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Clayton State University, and has been a licensed Hygienist for the last two and a half years.  Anne's future goal is to obtain a Masters Degree in Health Care Management.

Her ultimate goal is to become a Dentist and also to work with disadvantaged children and orphans.  Anne enjoys traveling, playing the piano, and singing when not working with her wonderful patients.

Mistie McCoy, Scheduling Coordinator

Mistie was born and raised in Cartersville, Georgia.  She chose the dental field because she loves to see happy people and smiling faces.  With over six years of experience, Mistie has worked in various front office roles such as Scheduling Coordinator, Insurance Coordinator, and Patient Care Coordinator.  She enjoys working at Conner Dental Associates because of the friendly atmosphere and the high level of professionalism.  Her main goal is to gain as much experience as possible and to be the best she can in her role of Scheduling Coordinator.

Mistie obtained a degree in Business Administration from Floyd College, and is currently enrolled in a radiography program at Chattahoochee Technical College.  Her long term plans include working at a major medical facility as a radiographer.  In her spare time, Mistie enjoys spending time with her children, reading and traveling.

Passion Garcia, Dental/Orthodontic Assistant

Passion's family is originally from Puerto Rico.  She recently moved to Georgia and she was born in San Jose, CA.  Although she is new to Georgia, she is not new to the field of dentistry.  She has seven years of experience in the dental field, in the areas of pedo, general, and orthodontics.   Passion has been in love with dentistry since high school where she chose it as her trade.  What she enjoys most is keeping patients happy and educating them about dentistry.  She also sees the value in learning new techniques that she can implement to make her job faster and easier.  Passion chose to work with Conner Dental Associates because it feels like home to her, and the Doctors and staff get along great.

Passion received her Bachelors of Science in Health & Science from Colorado University at Boulder.  Her goals include pursuing more of an education in dentistry, and possibly becoming a Dentist or a Hygienist as a second option.  In her spare time Passion enjoys being a new mom, reading, computers, and spending quality time with her family. 

Amy DeOliveira, Dental Assistant

Amy chose the dental field because she loves people and the ever-evolving dental field.  Her career in dentistry started when she attended Dental Careers, Inc. in Marietta, GA.  She was born right here in Kennesaw, at Kennestone Hospital.  What she loves most about working at Conner Dental Associates is the great patients, her friendly co-workers, and the awesome opportunity for growth.  Amy always has the ability to meet new people and learn new things in the dental field, which is what keeps her so motivated.  She has over two years experience in the dental field, and is currently attending Georgia Highlands college for Dental Hygiene. 

Amy's future goals include obtaining her Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and becoming a successful dental hygienist.  When she's not studying or working, she loves shopping and spending time with her friends and family.
